This year, the Wings for Life World Run took place in Freistadt for the very first time as an organized running event – passing directly by our company premises. For us, one thing was immediately clear: we had to be part of it.

Without hesitation, we formed our own running team – the INNOVA RUNNERS – to support spinal cord research together and take part in this special initiative.

With 16 participants, we joined around 200 runners at the starting line under bright sunshine. Whether as a Mother’s Day family outing, together with colleagues, or simply for the joy of running, the atmosphere was fantastic and the strong sense of community could be felt everywhere.

What makes us especially proud: our running initiative did not end with the event itself. The INNOVA RUNNERS continue to meet weekly for group runs. What started as a spontaneous event has grown into something that strengthens our team spirit and connects people – even beyond everyday work life.
