Well-educated women in rural areas are faced with a reality that is rarely spoken about openly: If you can't find a suitable job here, your only option is often to move to the city. 

We want to be exactly that suitable workplace - not just after maternity leave, but as a long-term, meaningful professional home.

The balancing act between deadlines and school closures, the worry about childcare, the inner pressure when family and work demand full attention at the same time - we don't know this from books, but from our own lives.

Children are not a taboo subject for us, but are very welcome
as an emotional resource, as part of our teamwork and as guests in everyday office life. Our event room can be used as a play and exercise room if required.

Innova Juniors - 
the next generation

The centrepiece of our active integration: the annual summer childcare programme that gave rise to INNOVA Juni ors. An independent, cross-generational community. The children help out at events, lend a hand with renovations and experience their parents' workplace at first hand. 

Working and being a parent are not mutually exclusive here - they belong together.

Care in all 
directions

The duty of care does not end with children. If you find yourself in a situation where you need more care than you are used to - whether for children or relatives who need care - you are not alone.

We work together to find individual solutions: unbureaucratically, confidentially and with the aim of ensuring that work and care remain compatible.

Returning to work after parental leave, part-time work with responsibility, individual working models: at INNOVAMETALL, family is not an obstacle, but a starting point.

WORK-LIFE INTEGRATION. In February 2026, we were honoured with the Upper Austrian state family award Felix Familia. The prize was awarded for the "INNOVA Juniors" initiative, which allows employees' children to actively participate in everyday company life - not as a childcare solution, but as part of the corporate culture. What began as summer childcare has developed into a year-round community. This is how INNOVAMETALL has created a work culture in which family and career are not separated - but rather belong together as a matter of course.
