My name is Andi and I'm the Technical Manager at INNOVAMETALL.
After ten years in a metal construction company, it was time for something new for me as a metalworker and technical draftsman. By coincidence, I first heard about INNOVAMETALL through my brother — and shortly after, I started here as a project manager.
As Technical Director, there’s hardly anything that doesn’t cross my desk at some point — and that’s what makes it so wonderfully diverse! My day includes meetings, consultations, scheduling and coordinating installations, organizing workloads, and solving issues that arise unexpectedly. Continuous coordination, optimization, and efficient implementation of workflows are also part of my daily routine.
Every day brings new challenges, which makes working at INNOVAMETALL especially exciting. With complete freedom, visionary thinking, and inventive spirit, we constantly push the boundaries of what’s possible. And when, after weeks, months, or even years, we hand over the finished product — that’s always a great moment.

My name is Christian, and I’m Head of Work Preparation at INNOVAMETALL.
I first got to know the company through collaborations with other firms and friends who recommended it to me as a very future-oriented company. With over 20 years of experience in sheet metal processing and a background as a mechanical technician, I’ve been part of INNOVAMETALL since 2017 — the year we opened our new production site in Niederkappel.
My area of responsibility includes production scheduling based on the plans created by our engineers in Freistadt, CNC programming, and design improvements whenever they make sense.
When I see opportunities to simplify production processes or improve the final result, I have the freedom to make those decisions myself and implement them — something I consider very special.
I’m also responsible for programming the manufacturing machines such as the laser cutters, press brakes, and welding robots, and I also carry out some of the production steps on the machines myself.
Most of my working day takes place in production, but there’s always plenty to do in the office as well.

My name is Claudia, and I’m the billing expert at INNOVAMETALL.
In 2012, I was looking for a new challenge in the region and came across a job posting from INNOVAMETALL — perfect timing. After graduating from the BHAK in Steyr and working at a bank, I’ve now found my ideal role in project construction.
Quotations, tenders, cost calculations, and billing – I’m usually involved in projects right from the start, supporting our engineers with all financial aspects throughout each construction phase. And when it comes to billing, coordinating with our clients naturally plays an important role in my day-to-day work.

My name is Astrid, and I’m responsible for Marketing & Communications at INNOVAMETALL.
After many years of working in customer service for KLM Cargo and Air France KLM Cargo at Linz Airport, parental leave and a move gave me the opportunity — and challenge — to rethink my career path. Joining INNOVAMETALL turned out to be the perfect fit.
During my childcare period, I started at INNOVAMETALL with just a few hours per week, working in internal sales and administration. Step by step, I increased my hours and took over communications. This area is full of variety: website, newsletters, advertisements, press releases and conferences, product information, events, photo shoots, and much more. That means coordinating with many different stakeholders — from sales and management to agencies, printers, photographers, and journalists.
I love this variety. Of course, it also requires a high level of responsibility, commitment, and creativity. Our four current brands keep presenting new challenges, but it’s fantastic to tell their stories across all channels. What I value most is that we always have the freedom to try new things and that our ideas are met with trust and open ears — all within a truly great team!
