Challenge
Ulrichsberg required a new bus terminal to make public transport in the town center more attractive. The goal was to create a modern and sustainable solution that improves both traffic safety and user comfort. At the same time, the new stop had to be designed flexibly and functionally to meet the demands of modern mobility.
Solution
The construction of the new bus terminal not only modernized public transport in Ulrichsberg but also created a space that impresses with its modular design stop. The shelter provides reliable protection from weather and sunlight, while the covered bicycle parking encourages the use of sustainable modes of transport. The design of the shelter follows a clean, minimalist aesthetic and, together with the bicycle canopy, forms a coherent architectural unit. The facility integrates functional elements such as seating, waste bins, and lighting to ensure a pleasant and comfortable waiting experience.
Result
The new terminal combines comfort and modern mobility. Its covered bicycle shelter and close location to nearby schools make it a key meeting point for commuters and students alike. Surrounded by green spaces, new trees, and updated street lighting, the site integrates seamlessly into the local environment.
With the Prime design shelter, we’re shaping modern mobility hubs for today and tomorrow. Functional, durable, and beautifully designed – for a better mobility experience in public space.
